I did assume Pep would be the deciding factor for these type of players, but they have all rejected us as a club rather than not being able to stump up.

Honestly mate. It’s a generational thing. 21 year olds now were 12 in 2011. That was the start of our journey & mad keen footballing kids of 12 would barely have given us a thought wherever in Europe.

Those who are 12 now & watching Foden, Doyle & Delap are going to want to play for us - at least as many as those who want to play for the Rags, Dippers or anyone in Europe.

Pep has made a difference but that was just the start of a 10 year transition.
