The "messi money" depends on signing Messi and only Messi, and getting the return on investment from sponsorship. The idea is it would pay for itself many times over. No other player can do that.

There are many who simply do not understand this , hence the " let's use the Messi money" cries.

It's really that simple .

It's been explained numerous times we don't have money for Messi,that the Messi money is from other sources comes from outside our transfer budget and the club and is only available for Messi. Not sure how you aren't getting it.

...and I thought it was explained by @projectriver that the club can't pay Messi through other sources as that would be a blatant breach of FFP rules.
