IMO he's a fantasy footballer- that is- he's part of a huge club, likes to dream that he's the caliber of player that team need. He plays well for his international team and may well be one of their better players- but Ukraine are 112th ranked in the world.

He'd rather "stay and fight for his spot" than allow himself to go to another club where he might actually start because in order to do that he'd have to accept a move to a smaller club.

I don't know what people have against him, the above shows he was not a weak link. He got injured then Pep rarely played him, who knows the reason why? . Only problem I had was he didn't cross very often , not unlike Clichy, I assumed that was orders. Rarely did he miscontrol the ball and a much better defender than Mendy. He knew his role and combined very well with David.

He could still do a job , leaving any money to be spent on on a forward. I wish.

It depends on who you follow mate - there's a lot of credible journalists on there who you can rely on when it comes to news. Not only that, it's real-time.
