If Laporte, Sterling and Bernardo all want to leave, then as long as the money is right we shouldn't stand in their way.
Bernardo works hard but has struggled to consistently deliver goals and assists.
Sterling has been woeful for a long time. Given his contract situation, if it is a straight up choice between a bumper new contract or selling him then IMO, it is thanks for your efforts over the past few years Raheem and best of luck at your new club.
The only one I would be genuinely worried about leaving would be Laporte and only because we rotate at CB unlike many other clubs. I don't rate Ake and if Laporte leaves its likely to be either Ake playing 30+ games next season, or we have to go out and spend the Laporte money on another CB. I don't really see what we gain from selling him but if he genuinely wants out, its probably best to just get rid.
I think if we sell all 3 and use the money to buy Grealish and Kane, we have sold 3 squad players for 2 guaranteed starters...not bad business at all.
