What I like about this idea is that, if these players were good enough for the Premier League champions and CL finalists, instead of trying to offload them to us as swaps (and in the process landing us with two sets of wages instead of one), why not just sell the fuckers and use the cash to buy Bernardo.

if they are any good, surely, they could raise a meagre £35m for each of them.

Not an accountant but maybe their income from sales is already programmed for repaying short term loans.

Maybe not, but then as @tolmie's hairdoo posted I can’t see us going much higher, possibly 90 ish. If we go over £100 think we’d want somebody younger. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kane finds himself stuck at Spurs.
