the strikers market is scarce, there’s only really I’d consider top class in Haaland , Kane,Lewandowski Benzema and Lukaku, then you have got to look at decent to all right strikers in Andre Silva and Vlahovic. Then there’s strikers that had potential but failed in Jovic.

Not many brilliant strikers out there Vlahovic is a massive risk if you go that route

Thinking about these, obviously we need to replace Kun’s goals, and address our issue of missing so many of the very good chances we create. It’s all very well scoring the 4th or 5th in a rout, but in the tight games or against the parked bus we need a striker who will put away that one chance that will win the game. I’ve seen too many opportunities missed by Sterling one on one, or scuffed straight at the keeper by Bernardo, or flying just wide by Kev. We need someone that will score most of those.

Having said that, for me if neither Chelsea or rag scum sign one of Haaland or Kane then I’d be reasonably happy even if we signed Ings because we are already good enough to win the league again as we are. But if one of those cunts sign one of the world’s top strikers then we would definitely have to sign someone of Haaland or Kane’s level to remain better than our rivals.

Jesus ? Always thought Jesus had similar qualaties and weknesses to a younger Son and could develop how Son has.

I think Jesus, Sterling and Torres would all benefit from a striker like Kane creating space for them, they all have great movement

Good profile and age but hardly half the player Dzeko was. His hold up + link up play is not nearly as good. We require our strikers to do a lot of hard work, heavily involved in build up. For what he'd cost I'd stay away, because he would need a lot of improvement under Pep, and time is well, short.
