This and this. The team is built round feeding him. Too old and injury prone. Says a great deal about his elite mentality that he has been happy to commit most of his career to a club that never come close to winning anything.
2 things:

1. He’s 27, hardly too old.

2. More importantly, yes he suffers from ankle injuries but let’s not fool ourselves he’s injury prone...look at the number of Prem games played each season.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’d prefer Haaland, but certainly won’t be crying myself to sleep if we end up with Kane.

thats the thing, we are all desperate for Haaland but maybe the numbers, mino etc just dont work? Its not FIFA or a game this its a shit ton of money!!! Kane could be managed better here as well but for people to be stamping their feet if its not haaland is just petulant!

He'll be 28 before next summer, the question isn't is he injury prone now, it's are his injuries on his ankle accumulative and going to cause issues long term. Will the club spend over £100 million on a player they may need to replace in 4 or 5 years. If the club are happy to do and see it as value that , that's fine by me. I just doubt personally the club would spend what would be needed on him.

Stop talking sense. I am allowed to dislike him for no particular reason other than him 1) playing for spuds 2) making c*ntish challenges on our players a couple of seasons ago.
I too would prefer Haaland or Mbappe but if its between no striker and Kane I suppose I will let it go.

Obviously, let's sign him first......but we might have his replacement already within our ranks, and who won't cost an extra penny.

Just spitballing, but can't shake the timing of this Kane stuff?

I don't see the leak as a Hail Mary from Kane, certainly with a deadline being floated of the Euros, his role as England captain being overshadowed by a month-long circus.

His preferred destination is City and he must have been given enough encouragement it can be reciprocated.

It's actually the easiest of all the deals to get done because Kane doesn't want to play abroad, Spurs have less leverage than they had two years ago, he wants to win now.

Pep is also a confirmed admirer/there are players who could easily be involved in the equation.

I've tried gaming it out, but the obvious is Kane, as I don't think we would lie to him purely to give Haaland/Dortmund such a time sensitive shove?

It begs questions which we don't yet know the answers to, Haaland isn't moving this summer/Dortmund are emboldened because they will sell Sancho/Haaland is too expensive/not committed.

i genuinely think Pep has decided on Kane and talks between City and him are done and now hes got to do his bit to get out?

Which players though

Ake maybe

As I say, the easiest deal to conclude is actually Kane, he's already done his bit by leaking he wants to leave and only wants to stay in England?

Spurs' statement last night hardly smacked of shock or offence, they are in a difficult financial situation, with also the job of planning ahead for a new manager.

I don't think City push the button on Kane unless they are in full possession of the facts already with Haaland. If Kane arrives before the Euros, it's a fair bet Haaland is going nowhere this summer.
