Wishful thinking but wouldn’t it be fantastic is City we’re in collusion with Mendes to suck the rags in then pull their pants down - getting them spending ridiculous amounts of money on someone they didn’t really need the Piano player springs to mind). Him and his client get a big pay day and the rags have a drain on their resources that might stop them spending big on a striker next year - giving City a clear field.Yeah, will be interesting to see how that relationship continues, and whether or not we feel like he exploited us.
Incompetent: not having or showing the necessary skills to do something successfullyNone. Literally none. I’m still livid.
We have proven this summer that we are massively incompetent in the market. Omar Berrada and the transfer team (Txiki, Khaldoon) had months to sort out a striker and not just failed but failed miserably. Today’s humiliation to top it all off should see heads roll but it obviously won’t. Can’t imagine HRH is too impressed mind.
It’s how the Kane and Ronaldo sagas played out that’s shown our SMT to be hugely incompetent when it comes to the market.
Just pathetically bad.
Ha, I think you’re understating that a bit tbf.Haaland or Lewandowski would be bonus
Hope its not a panic buy. I would rather wait one year for haaland but knowing city we won't go near him. I feel like we missed out on a great cheap option in Patson Daka.I am saying a transfer can happen before the window closes.
I am saying the club has not given up.
I am saying, strap on your big boy pants, you bunch of pathetic, Twitter loving, Blue cunts.
