I don't know if he can make it work again or not. I don't know how the season would go. That's not the point of discussion. That's secondary. I know we messed this transfer waiting too long for kane and jumping into ronaldo wagon in the last minute. If there was no plan B and pep believed in the team, they should not have gone for Ronaldo. That would have avoided one disaster atleast.

Whether he makes it work is not secondary, in fact it’s the only thing that really matters. Not bothered about whether we should have gone for Ronaldo that’s done and hardly a disaster, we had a look and pulled back for whatever reason how far in we got is debateable.

Tbf if people can focus on City's negatives I can easily focus on Chelsea's. They were the club that spent 72m on Kepa. I believe other than scoring against us 36m Ziyech has been underpar. Higuain was hardly great. Morata, Drinkwater, the iconic Torres deal. They spent 35m on Batshuayi.

I agree. They have misses. No doubt about it. That said, they don't dick about when they want someone. They go and get them for the most part. They make some damn good money on player sales, also. They aren't typically a charity.

1. I think Pep laid it clear that the club never got to negotiate with Spurs at all. What the hell can you do besides maybe telling Harry earlier, listen Son your on your own.
Harry didn’t do a Ronaldo and say listen I'm not playing for you again, get over it.
2. I think Grealish is part of the overall 5 year plan or whatever and as such will prove to be an astute move on our part. Just my opinion.

Disagree. I wish it wasn't a shit show, but that's what it is. Three months to sign a striker and we fail to do it

Yes and I’m gradually going back to my original stance too, that for us it would have turned out to be a toxic move. We’ll never know now.

Not a popular view but for me today has been a good day, as a woman I’m really happy we‘re not associating ourselves with Ronaldo and the most important person in our club Pep has stated he has no timeframe in which he is leaving, as long as we have pep we will win trophies as that just what what he does!

Admittedly this hasn’t been a good window as we haven’t addressed any of our weaknesses (lb & striker) whereas our competitors have all improved…..but 1) the window isn’t over and 2) the rest have to first match our level before they‘re number one.

i‘m just guessing but personally I”n not expecting any big moves on strikers (as I just don’t see who there is available) but I wouldn’t be surprised if we make movements on addressing our LB issues and bringing in a defensive midfielder so that next summer we can concentrate on landing a striker instead of having to get a LB, Defensive midfield ano striker.

Above all guys keep your heads up, we’re the champions and have the best manager in the world!

i dont know where are confidence of getting Kane came from all summer. if our ITK's really got positive feedback from sources on Kane transfer, what the hell it was based on given of what was the outcome being basically Levy not talking to us.

its not like we were close and we missed out.

That's the most baffling factor in all of this.
