Why would any club publicly announce they are lowering the price of a player by so much when there is clearly so much interest in him already. Just sounds like usual paper bollocks.

We have Rodri and Dinho next season,then hopefully an 18/19 yr old Lavia (maybe others too) banging on the first 11 door in 2022/23.

Bissouma is a favourite of mine,but,as it stands....there is no room.

How highly do you rate Lavia? Seems to have really made an impact, but do you see him being a genuine contender to break through?

I think he has a genuine chance of a break through next season. Will be surprised if he doesn't play in the Carabao Cup at the very least.

50m at the time seemed like crazy money, but what a signing he is and as time goes on he seems to becoming another one of the leaders at the club.

Zinchenko has been incredible for i'd say a good 70%, probably more, of his performances at LB over the 4 seasons, including crucial games and runs in the centurions season, the 98pt season, and this one. He's had a few poor performances the year we didn't win the title (as did a lot of the team at times that season), and the odd one or two elsewhere. Yet we just can't seem to accept that he is good more than he isn't, and how much he brings to this side. Whoever comes in, will have a fight on their hands for that spot.

I would also add that if Cancelo had Walkers attitude he would be world class but sadly he has not, Walker any day and everyday plays before him.

Agreed. Even something as little as their reactions to mistakes - Cancelo looks lazy and drops his head when he makes one but Walker works his bollocks off to remedy it and then either shouts/kicks something in frustration.

Walker is the best right back in the world right now IMO and has been for 2/3 years.
