Agreed. Even something as little as their reactions to mistakes - Cancelo looks lazy and drops his head when he makes one but Walker works his bollocks off to remedy it and then either shouts/kicks something in frustration.

Walker is the best right back in the world right now IMO and has been for 2/3 years.

Cancelo is one I would be happy to let go this summer to get our big targets in.

Very talented footballer but very flakey attitude and something I can't see changing.

Our entire back line was atrocious last year and he actually barely played.

He offers something that Walker doesn’t in attack, and having both of them competing helps us as a squad.

How highly do you rate Lavia? Seems to have really made an impact, but do you see him being a genuine contender to break through?

He's the real deal,he has all the attributes of a CDM and is very composed in his approach.The only 'weakness' I see is a lack of lightning pace but his positional sense and reading of a situation makes up for that minor criticism.He could be very much the Dinho replacement,he needs the step up to test and prove it.

Callum Paterson can play both right and left back. He can't be any worse than Mendy is, at this point, at LB. Moreover, he can offer cover virtually anywhere else on the pitch. Probably wouldn't be terrible expensive and maybe would be happy to be a squad player here for a few seasons.
