You do have to wonder if he wanted it..It would have been nice to reserve the #10 for standout academy graduates only like barca did with fati, it gives the academy additional motivation. Would have liked foden to take it.

These days we have multi million pound deals for individual players. Surely having decent legal representation almost like due diligence should happen or is football a special case?Wouldn't put the sole blame on him Kaz. Believe it was his previous agent (which had suspicious connections to the Levy mafia enterprise) who locked him into this unbelievable 6 year contract.
However, I agree Charlie Kane's inept or perhaps naive maneuver to rely on this so called 'gentleman's agreement' coupled with an orchestrated golf interview suggesting £100m would do it was foolish to say the least.
We could point fingers at everyone but at the end of the day it was Harry Kane who signed this contract & no one else so the sole responsibility lies with him.
Big big fireworks in janurary ,not.Name ideas for next thread @tolmie's hairdoo
Why would Fifa do that when they get a brown envelope as well....Agents being paid by anybody involved in a transfer other than their client players should be outlawed by FIFA. Nonsensical and scandalous that these venal, ammoral parasites can end up being paid by three different parties on a single transaction
I said when this was first mentioned, when Kane signed that contract the spuds were actually looking ok, Kane was scoring goals, they got to a CL final and so forth, Poch was doing good things and then its only recently its all collapsed and he wants out.Wouldn't put the sole blame on him Kaz.
