Yeah, it’s a joke of a fee but selling clubs aren’t dropping their demands the way some people are making them out to. What you’re seeing is a lot of players running their contracts down to facilitate transfers because the buyers haven’t got the resources to meet the selling clubs’ valuations. Unless the seller desperately needs to raise funds.

In any case I can’t see us entertaining a low offer for an important player who would be difficult to replace and has 3 years remaining on his contract.

They can only talk. They will have to pay in region of what £70m/£80m? Basic + addones. Might have to sell their underwears for peanuts to fund moves

I do find it a bit weird that folk come on a thread set up by @tolmie's hairdoo to slag off said person, even though he repeatedly explains that what he knows isn’t gospel and can change at any minute. Some people on here are such knob heads. Stay clear off the thread if you’re that bothered and take it that seriously. Or alternatively just get a life

Just a reminder that these lying low lifes (I'm generalising, obviously) know absolutley nothing. Zilch. Zero. They have made all these figures and alledged interest, up. They are now trying to out do each other with the highest amounts they can quote. It happens every season and shouldn't be taken seriously. The guy that wrote that last Barca rumour wrote that, knowing Barca can afford SFA and that our three players are on decent long term contracts. Literally anybody could do their 'jobs'.
