I understand the hate towards him based on his past and the teams where he played, but on current form, it’s just irrational, or maybe explained in a different way

Alfredo Morelos is also the king of Scotland...

In all fairness I'd take Lukaku, If we fail in our attempt with Christian Benteke.
I'd take him if we couldn't get Haaland.
He's a good striker who knows the league, plus i'm sure KDB would endorse him, they seem to have a good understanding for Belgium

I never really rated either of them, especially at those rumored transfer fees. I'd rather we try to land Haaland or Kane. Failing that, just stick with Gabriel Jesus and promote Delap.
Lukaku not going anywhere could make it more awkward for us. Chelsea were supposedly interested in him ..if not then they could turn their attention to Haaland

£80mil is the latest figure for Grealish

Imo, if its true (which I doubt) I don't think we will look for him nor would I want us to

Think he's class but that is an insane amount of money for someone who hasn't yet proven himself enough to warrant a fee like that....that's an insane sum, especially for us given we dont really like to go for those standout fees (we love those £50mil to £60mil players)

Think if Auoar is available for £25mil, that would be a much better use of our funds (different type of player I know)

If its about £65mil then I think he's ours

You doubt it’s true yet proceed to make a lot of points based on that assumption

I think £70M/75M is a fair fee if you look at his standout stats and potential. If he were playing for a big 6 team delivering the same, you could be looking at 40% on top of that at least
If we win the UCL, expect the club to award Pep with at least two players who will break our transfer record (for the striker, considerably)

Not feeling Aouar anymore given his poor season

I like Grealish as a player and think he would be a great option, but only if we didn't buy a striker.

I just think that him and Phil have similar games and it would mean one or the other starting, which may cause a problem we don't need.

This has already been discussed to death here. It’s not the case.
