Just putting this point out there, everything I'm reading and hearing is that its the likes of Harry Kane who will cost a fortune.

Do we not have scouts that can find great players for a fraction of the price?

Buying big will just confirm all the criticism of the club and Pep that we just buy success?

Couldn't care less what pundits have to say mate in all honesty they will always find things to throw at us no matter what we ain't the media darlings and never will be. I'd take Kane all day you have to spend big and keep improving.

With most players now with their national teams I can’t see any movement on Kane or grealish until at least July once the euros have finished

Pep might be asking too much for one player. I love fernandinho but we got overrun in the midfield by Liverpool in the CL when he was at his peak, its not like we had everything sorted back in 2017/18.

Is there anyone who is big, fast, incredible on the ball against the press, creative, and also reads danger?

I genuinely can't name someone who has all of those attributes that Pep needs in the most important position in his side. Kimmich might be the closest but he's not *amazing* creatively.

For me though, we pretty clearly need an athletic midfielder who reads danger, even if he is just “good enough” at the other attributes. Once Fernandinho can’t do what he does anymore (and it’s now unclear if Pep still trust him to do it) it’ll be such a glaring hole in the team.

We need a Diaz type of character in the middle of the park, take no prisoners and give as good as they got, we are far too weak and mild in there without Fern.
