Like you said in the podcast however.....Messi is the unknown...I too could see us sticking with the false 9 approach IF (and its a big IF) Messi does decide to leave Barca (as he is only coming here if he does leave).....messi easily scores 20 a season in the prem league (and thats an understatement)

Messi has gone quiet with Barca as well, they have given him the offer and heard nothing back. He’s concentrating on Argentina

Morgan Rogers on loan at Lincoln has had a good season left sided player only 19 come this July maybe he can come back for preseason put some pressure on Sterling! Always love to see our youth players pushing the first team players..

Rogers has done well,he looks better than league one level.

He is no where near Prem standard yet though,needs a Championship loan.

There will be plenty of others in contention for that left sided berth.

That's a new one, he is top class and I could understand totally if he is pissed he can't get into the 11, is that bad attitude?

It is if you go public....lots of players in our quad dont play every game.....very few complain in the press about it like Laporte did

On Laporte, @city_tactics had a very interest thread on what went wrong. In summary our full backs were sucked into pressing Chelsea’s wing backs and left Stones and Dias. It worked for Chelsea so expect a few copycats next season.

The suggestion to counteract it was to go 3 at the back. I wouldn’t be surprised if Pep tries that against Chelsea next season. If that’s the case Laporte would play a lot more.

I really hope we don’t sell him this summer as we won’t get a decent price and we’ll get mugged on any replacement.

No worries...love listening to you guys....only discovered it a few weeks ago but ive watched a few back dated ones as well..we may disagree at times but it doesnt mean i dont respect your opinon...plus on video things are less likely to get misinterprited

Agree with that totally, keep it behind closed doors if you had issues.

But we don't want to go back to the season before' s situation when we lost Kompany and had Laporte's injury.
