Ramos and Dias bacline. Fucking hell. Ramos isn't finished BTW, when he's out of madrid team they lose when he's in their team they win its why they don't want him to go
He's done, Mendy on one leg is more mobile, he would be ripped apart in the Prem.

Surely we can do better.. Rather give a younger player the chance
Thats the point though, unless something disaterous happens the 4th centre back won't get the chance, and if something does happen then an experienced player is needed, better they go on loan for a year or 2 and an older centre back somebody like Ramos becomes 4th centre back for a year or 2. Again if Laporte goes.

Seems sensible if ake or laporte go.

Both players are way over the hill and be absolute liabilities in City's high line play.

Boateng is shot and Ramos isn't far behind.

Ramos is fine when he's fit. He's 100% used to playing in a high line and he's only run into problems over the last year or so when he's been playing injured because Real are so desperate. He's had a few niggling injuries, and he's skipped the Euro's to get fit, so I think I have to assume the medical department will sort out if he's fit in a medical before we signed him.

As a 3rd/4th choice he'd be a good short term solution if Laporte wanted to leave and the club didn't want to feel rushed into finding a replacement.

He's one of the few players in the world who is a proper, habitual winner and leader. So many of Madrid's recent trophies have come from him refusing to lose and doing something spectacular to get them over the line. He could be a great influence on Dias and Stones.

I think we'd get a good year out of him, maybe 18 months, and that might be what the club needs to find their preferred next CB rather than being quoted 70m+ by everyone because Laporte got sold for that much.

Also he's an incredible penalty taker, so that'd be nice. 20/21 since he became Madrid's penalty taker and scored 20 in a row for Spain and Madrid at one point.

no you don‘t replace best left sided central defender not too long ago but instead you play him in back three of stones , dias and laporte ffs
You don't change formation to accommodate a whiny player who throws a sulk because he lost his place in the side for 6 months (and still got rotated in as much as possible to try and keep him happy) and now wants to leave.

We play 433. We've won 3 titles in 4 years playing that predominantly. If Laporte can't be bothered to fight for his place, he can leave.
