Pick one.
Other than Foden, Jesus, Ederson or I guess zinchenko none of our players were cast offs or unwanted.
No matter how hard Liverpool/Tottenham fans try to lie about not wanting Sterling or walker

edit; foden is an academy player so doesn’t count. Not implying he’s a cast off before anyone pisses their pants

But that’s a different story. For instance, sure, Benfica would love to have kept Dias, but were they fighting to keep him? They knew he was gone.
Also, in what world was Jesus a cast off or unwanted? He was the star of Palmeiras

So we can add Jesus to the list then can’t we

I may be putting 2+2 to make 5 but I think Sterling's probably been considering his options after a disappointing season in the new system. Fair enough, I would also want to know I wasn't signing up to play in a system that didn't suit me for another 5 years with a world cup around the corner.

City have gotten a bit impatient and started planning for if he leaves.

Sterling's feeling better about the future shape of the side, probably because he's talking to Kane, so he's going to sign a new deal. I assume that's what @tolmie's hairdoo is talking about, but he's not happy about the idea of being offered around as a bargaining chip after all his contributions to the side so he's let it known.

Do you really think he was 'offered round' as a bargaining chip?

Calling BS on us offering him to Spurs.

If we actually did that without first speaking to the player and thinking he'd want to go to Spurs, someone should be out the door and not Sterling. It would be bad enough if we were offering him to Madrid or similar without discussing it with him but why would any of our senior players want to go to Spurs.
Why would City offer a player to another club without consulting the player first? I'm with you it's BS

The question you have to ask yourself is ‘Are City ran by idiots’
Because you would have to be a proper idiot to think you could offer a player, without his consent or knowledge to another club, a player with a couple of years left on their contract who is in negotiations to extend, a player who has ambitions to be at the very best club and win trophies every year.
This is why I call bullshit, it makes no sense to anyone involved to alienate a player in that way. Plus the fact that we most definitely aren’t run by idiots.

How the fuck in the world were Kane worth 150mil.and Grealish 100mil.City only value Raheem at 80mil. absolutely ridiculous. When Bayern wanted Sane before he got injured we wanted 100mil euros. There is no way that City value Sterling less now than Sane was valued no way.
Because if Raheem was on fire we probably wouldn’t be after the other two.
Also he has two years left in contract and hasn’t had a decent game in 2021.

What about
Can’t help but think his head is too big now to fit through the door
Good player but comes across as a bit of a dick to me.
Sterling to PSG and £100mill for Mbappe maybe Sterling would go there.. just saying.

Which is bang on, never in a million years would we offer him. At the very most if players are mentioned in swap deals it may have been “which of our players are you interested in” rather than we will give you xyz.

I doubt it, unless we are hoping nobody watched him play last year

Yes very good.

You know what I meant though, sounds a bit bollocks to me. It seems so easy for journalists to claim to know what any given player is feeling, or thinking. Get the clicks. If they deny it, claim that as well and get the clicks again. The mud will have stuck anyway and it will only look like the player is either backtracking or being political. Stinks.

All this is coming from the spurs end about our players one of our best players being linked to spurs yeah right!

It’s remarkable how Levy media go to people blow smoke his arse and make them look like club that’s won shitloads and one of the best teams in Europe?! When in reality they are in a lot of shit with a ageing poor squad that needs major investment oh and Managerless
