If we actually did that without first speaking to the player and thinking he'd want to go to Spurs, someone should be out the door and not Sterling. Because you would have to be a proper idiot to think you could offer a player, without his consent or knowledge to another club, a player with a couple of years left on their contract who is in negotiations to extend, a player who has ambitions to be at the very best club and win trophies every year.
