we aren't athletic enough in midfield for how football is evolving if we continue to ignore it we will be left behind
It's not a race. With football it's about skill and intelligence. There is a reason we won the league by 12 points after having a shit start.

I don't pick 'em, bud.

De Bruyne is a big fan of Lukaku.
I respect that, however I have more faith in the City scouting network then I do De Bruyne.

Kind of reminds me of the Dias situation last season, we was linked with Koulibaly and Kounde most of the summer. I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t get Kane or Harland but somebody else.

Doyle's been in the first team picture for 2 1/2 seasons now and made 1 league appearance.

I really wanted him to succeed and come through because of his family history - and the style of player he is - but pretty hard to see it happening now unless he has some sort of massive breakthrough on the preseason tour.
I think Tommy would be better going out on loan. For me he would benefit more from playing regularly. I am sure there are a few Championship teams who would take him.

Don't see him joining another club in England, him and his missus love Manchester too much!

He’s happy here, liked around the club and a very popular character amongst the players, cost next to nothing, low comparative wages, doesn’t rock the boat and works very very hard.

I just think ‘how much to replace him?’ And any argument about him moving goes away.

One day in a few years city fans will think of him in the same way zabba was viewed - he’s more important to the squad than many on here think.

Mahrez has no balls, no fight. Yes he had a good season but I’m not confident he will do it again. We can do better.

And Rodri isn’t the right man to replace Fern in the DM position. He’s far to slow and he often dwells on the ball and gets caught in possession. Again we can do a lot better.
Sell Laporte move rodders to CB and buy new dynamic dm.

Sterling and City believe him playing with a World class number nine next season will go a long way to solving a few concerns.

He's going nowhere unless Madrid or Barca want him.
that's a poor argument. Sterling should be good enough in his own right to play well without them, not being able to control a ball properly, dribble without giving the ball back to the defender and score regularly aren't going to be solved by playing with a striker. This is like clinging onto Yaya when he couldn't run anymore. Time to play someone who can actually contribute this decade.
