He did say we are looking at a forward, but was very evasive about whom, just said false 9 Foden, Bernardo, Kev, Jesus,Raz can all play the role.

Foden is so highly regarded nothing will be done that could hamper his progress, the lad could well be the next superstar given time of course.

Given what i was told where would Haaland fit, we no longer play with a CF and have still scored over 100 goals this season. It makes sense, we are not going to change how we play to accommodate Haaland
We no longer play with a CF because we haven't got a fit striker who can put the ball in the net. If haaland comes our tactics will change yet again to accommodate him

Okay. But I still have some doubts.

Why is there so much buzz around Haaland and Manchester City then? If the future for Man City is false 9, why hide it so confusingly?

Do you really think signing Haaland will hamper Phil's progress? Phil can play five positions, and from what we have seen, his best position is RW. So why would we avoid a chance of signing the best young striker in the world, whose dad played for Manchester City, who is a fan of Manchester City and who is a highly marketable player for this club due to the fact that he quite literally has hundreds of photos and videos in City shirts?

"We no longer play with a CF", don't you think this is more circumstantial than on purpose? Pep recently came out and said that we are approaching an important part of the season and he can't afford to play out of form players back into form and that he would play the players who have helped him the most. Don't you think Aguero fits that bill? Also if Aguero was in top form, do you think we would still be playing false 9 as regularly? Pep loves options, don't you think it pisses him off not having a clinical forward in games where he feels a striker up top would be better?

Now your argument is we want a forward but not Haaland. If we were to end up with Kane or Lukaku, then it would be stupid to assume Haaland was not our first choice. Why would we go for a false 9 player if we already have Phil, Kevin, Bernie who can play that role? Also, Guardiola has complained about not having a 20 goals a season player, so what was that about then?

If your argument is we will try and save money, go for Daka or Nunez then that would discredit everything that Pep and Khaldoon have said. Pep has quite literally said that the player who replaces Aguero would have to be as good as him. Khaldoon has said that they will spend big while replacing Aguero, so find me a player who fits this description while not clearly inferring that he is second choice to Haaland.

I must be high on mushrooms — did I really just read the name Nunez here? Lol

Have they actually said that though?
Yes, Pep said that in one of his post match conferences or interviews. Khaldoon one was in some interview I think, but it could be through a press briefing quoting Khaldoon, and if it is that case, then I can understand why some people would doubt its validity.

Any truth in the rumours about Gabriel Veron?

Seems like more out type of signing but the rags are also linked.
As someone who lives in Brazil and watches a lot of Palmeiras, I can’t possibly understand the appeal of Veron. Nothing special about him, not even stats.

Its not my argument, i have made no argument, i am simply relaying what I was told by a man who in my opinion is more likely to know than anybody else apart from Ferran,Tkiki and Khaldoon.

I will say no more in future.

It’s something that doesn’t need to be said. It’s pretty obvious

Can you really say this with a straight face? Lol
