If they hate City so much do they equally hate Barcelona who tapped up Dembele before he went on strike to force a move? How many clubs do Dortmund hate? Are they really such a special club that they can sit in an ivory tower telling their buy to sell squad that there are in fact places those players can't go because the CEO doesn't like the colour of their skin or their money.

As I said at the time mate, I hope you're right. But at the same time, I think there's a danger of underestimating the resentment a lot of clubs around Europe feel towards us.

And as to your point about Haaland going where he wants, I agree up to a point. But hypothetically, if Barca put an offer on the table that pretty much matched ours in terms of wages, bonuses, agent fees, sponsorships etc. and Dortmund made it clear they'd prefer he go there, do you honestly believe Haaland would not even consider it? I'm not 100% convinced the player power is as strong with this one as you believe.

As I said, really hope you're right with this. Time will tell.

Instruction to procure and then present offers to them, despite public protestations to the otherwise they are not considering a sale.

Dortmund don't want to deal with City and will only do so when they can see what other clubs can propose as an alternative.

It's a Hail Mary to sniff out something more palatable than us. Mino wants to get paid twice.

Halland holds all the aces if he wants city but Dortmund refuse to deal with us he says ok I will wait a year and potentially cost you £40m
 
i think we could get Mbappe he rejected us when he was at Monaco. We were a different team back then, right now we are one of the best teams in the world compeating on all fronts i think we have a shot
