I’ve always been a fan. He’s more intelligent than Jesus. I think as he gets older he could become like Sheringham was in the late 90s, early 00s. He might not be the glamorous signing everyone craves but if he can stay fit I think he’d be a good signing for us.

If we're going to smash our transfer record then we will have to be make some tough decisions.
I think Sterling's been a very good signing but it does seem as though he's at a crossroads.
For all his talent, Jesus frustrates the hell out of me and I think we could do better.

I could find the post I made in 2014 saying we should consider him.

Didn't realise he only had a year left. Maybe less than £40m then.

No reason why he wouldn't do well for us in my opinion but, as you say, each to their own.
