You say Kane goes missing in international tournament, didn’t he win the golden boot in the last World Cup?? Also you say injury concerns, KDB has missed more games than Kane in the last few seasons so should we get rid of him?

TBF, there were a lot of penalties, but then if he can score pens, he’s good enough for me.

I think the race to Haaland has met with some speed bumps with the crazy Kane rumours coming to the fore with us at frontrunners .
Though the general positivity by the ITKs here of Haaland's insistence to coming to City only, at the back of my mind I always thought there are just too many moving parts with Haaland transfer.
BVB CEO is not our biggest fan, The Raiola circus and the Alfie circus. There are just too many moving parts.

A team crazy determined to get Haaland would have to do a Pogba to United deal ( World record fee and crazy wages ) or a Bale to Madrid deal. With our team all settled and nice we just don't do all of that.

In my personal opinion a Kane deal is not going to be easier either so I always though if we have to walk on nails to ge our number 9 why not bleed some for Haaland rather than Kane.

All in all since i don't know what's happening behind the scene I would be extremely happy with either of them.

I agree but as both players have 3 years left on their contracts and with the current financial climate, their clubs won't be giving them away, gentleman's agreement or not.

I think both would be well over £100m, so if City are prepared to pay that, then what's an extra £20-£30m.

Then though do you go hard for players who are out of contract this seaon or next, Messi or Mbappe...decisions, decisions!

Sorry but you are missing the point.. Kane has been flogged to death by Spurs..KDB has been managed properly..look at the scousers this season, falling apart having played the same 11 for the last 3 years..plus Kane has a persistent problem with his ankle, KDB, has had various unrelated issues. Finally, lets not forget Spurs have played fewer matches than us, have won nothing of late, chalk and cheese.

I've seen a few people saying this and its really bizarre trying to compare keeping a world class yet injury prone 29 year old, and spending £100-125m on one.
Maybe cos the injury prone 29 yr old is gonna cost the club £91 million in wages on his new 5 year contract maybe
