Those are the facts for Spurs but the likes of Levy struggle with facts and tend to write and believe their own narrative. I don’t think Kane is the PL top earner but, put a £150m valuation on him and he should be on £300k plus a week - which he isn’t but his agent will be working on that.
Spuds have a mountain of debt and some of their projected income streams may be impacted for some time.... will NFL games take place in the UK next year? They leveraged aggressively and made made equally aggressive revenue growth assumptions THAT will be very challenging. They will need to raise cash at some point - the pandemic couldn’t have come at a worse time for them.

From what you are hearing TH would you say its more likely we end up with Kane or Haaland? I know that its probably just more guess work than anything at this point but Id be really interested to hear your view point on this....He's already on £230k a week at Spurs, according to some of their pack and can earn £300k a week with scoring bonuses.

For me, if Kane is on the table then we have either been told under no circumstances Dortmund are selling Haaland or the lad himself doesn't want to come here. I don't see any 'footballing' reason why we would choose Kane. We also probably believe waiting 12mths wouldn't make a difference and Haaland will go elsewhere, can we afford to not get a striker in this summer, I don't think so.For me Kane cuts out our chances of getting Haaland if we did get Kane...obviously....for me there is more longevity with Haaland (especially if we continue to be successful and as a club we seem to treat players very well so no reaosn to think he wouldnt stay), Id say haaland is more mobile, able to press better, able to pay across the front 3 unlinke Kane. I know kane's scoring record is excellent but for me he goes missing in big matches (including international matches at tournaments)....He also has no pace and there are legitimate injruy concerns with his ankle(s) which are only going to get worse in the next couple of years.
I just dont see why if we are going to go to 100m for Kane (plus the rest potnetially) why we wouldnt test Dortmunds resolve by offering the same for Haaland...
I can see why he would be an alterantive but I think we need to put the pressure on Dortmund (esp as if ou say Haaland is really keen to play for us)
We miss out this summer we have a potentially deteriorating Kane for the next few seasons instead of an improving young striker....who could end up staying longer and has more attributes that we require.

The stadium is stunning and to be fair you could not have possibly have accounted for covid and the consequences.
Lets not forget who Levy operates under, Joe Lewis, so he calls a lot of the shots and he like a lot of owners now,only see's success as a balance sheet and not a trophy cabinet.
