Unless it's been so quiet from both sides for so long as they get the offer sorted between them to avoid a back and forth. Then when all is agreed with player and club, get it officially sent in. Done within days.

Haha they’re a deluded bunch!

I think that it suits our financial purpose for all the media and those we buy from to believe we cannot afford both.

The FFP expertise lies on this forum and of course City legal team so I think City know more about debt and investment than those who comment.

But what also get's overlooked and never mentioned by the media is the prize money.
