Eh. Foden helped us deal with Sterling's lack of form for sure. Can't call it a direct replacement, hardly the same attributes either.

He actually has a lot of the same attributes. The only thing Sané has on Foden is pace and Foden is no slouch.

I think we need a CDM. Fernandinho is 36 Rodri is good but is not Fernandinho. Bissouma does really remind me of Fernandinho,would be brilliant in our side

I watched all the teams in Europe who will be seriously contending for the UCL title this weekend, and we had by far the worst performance. Truly worrying. Think PSG even with many of their new players and Neymar out still were good. Bayern with their 1-1 result were okay. Let alone the other English teams, all doing well. We were not.

I have no problem being called this word that I learned months ago, “flapper”. I hope all the evidence I’m seeing turns out to be just smoke. I have no doubt the team will improve but this time this should happen much faster than last year. The other teams are better, there are fans in the stadium, more points will be needed.

I learnt long ago not to judge a team in the first month, no matter the first match with 2/3 of a team. I bet on a Spurs win, 5-1 like printing money.
