Could of been planned ages ago and contracts exchange tomorrow. No big deal him moving in either instance and probably a pain in the arse for him right now but he may not have a choice.

Big house in London (which is home for him), near to his family and near to a golf course. The house will still be there when he retires, it has no bearing on the outcome of this.
