ive heard a few things from people but not sure if they are true...

however , in a Given thread somewhere , someone posted a message saying " who we gonna bring in to sit on the bench "

To which Tolmie replied "Begovic" and then a few days later it started appearing in a few newspapers that there is a 2 way battle between us and chelsea for Begovic.

Plus tolmie has already told us bout ibra and luiz :)

tottenham- didnt sign him , he went for a medical and i dont think anything was revealed as the reason why he didnt go

stoke- thought he could be number 1 but hasnt had a look in

man city / chelsea - if your gonna sit on the bench , you may aswell be in a squad thats class ;)

And he doesn't come cheap,Stoke paid 3.5m,which would surely suggest they expect him to be 1st choice in the not to distant future.If any truth to it,then i don't see this being his best career move and i would question his attitude.

I don't think Tolmie posted that days ahead of the media but it might have been minutes before. However, I think it is fair to say that if Tolime has not got a useful connection(s), he's a very clever and lucky con-artist.

Maybe he thinks he's better than Hart or could hold onto his place if Hart got injured/suspended. I've been impressed by him most times I've seen him.
