Ivan Toney

I said at the time 8 months is just a slap on the hands, but it should have been a lifetime ban after today,
betting on games you are playing is match-fixing and cheating fans who pay to watch,

I have this feeling he is holding the FA by the balls because he could easily blow the whistle on the whole rotten game, Why he was not charged with Match-fixing if he is admitting he placed bets on his own games, also now it's come out the FA should reopen the case and change him with match-fixing
To be fair to him, he wasn't playing in the matches, he was injured or just not in the squad. But it's still the equivalent of insider trading. Very serious imo, addiction or not.

He did bet on games he played in but only to win.
He bet on brentford to lose in games he wasn't playing in - which is very dodgy if he knew he as their best striker wasn't playing.

if he's betting on games that he's playing in then it's match-fixing simple, I would like to know did the games he bet on came up and if he won the bets, also the amount of the bets and winnings involved, Defo inside knowledge and others involved because you telling me it's just him at it hahaha,

what is the difference ? its match-fixing for me and the punishment is not enough

I think the bigger issue is him betting on Brentford to lose in games he wasn't playing in.
If he was betting on Brentford to win when he was playing, he is just going to try a bit harder. That's not cheating.

He also knew it was not allowed and took steps to conceal it, then tried to destroy the evidence and then lied to the FA about it, which blows up many of the defences put forward on his behalf by journalists.
Southgate looks a bit daft now after defending doesn't he?

Surely The FA would of told him
