With Russell Brand, it does not suprise me as that is what he does, he is successfull all over the world due to his own unique comedy which is always white knuckle and on the edge.

With Woss, it is another example of him trying to fit in and be funny, he is a shit entertainer, fuckin hate the guy.

Come on, Russell Brand isn't internationally famous, infact im not sure anyone outside of the states would know who he is if it wasn't for his role in that Sarah Marshall film.

Also, if i get this right; both are responsible for the same behaviour yet its more acceptable for Brand than it is Ross?

Both should be tarred with the same shitty brush.

I've not heard the conversation they had with the answer phone,but i believe this has been blown out of all proportion by jealousy.

The jealousy of other media, I.E Sky, Daily Mail and other outlets that aren't funded by the state and will use any excuse to beat down the BBC. FFS theres a recession and all they're bothered about is a phone prank gone wrong

What they did was immature yes, but not a hanging offence. I even think it all maybe a PR stunt for Brands Ex to get her back in the limelight.

How is it a conspiracy theory when she signs up with Max Clifford and sells her story to the Sun?

A paper owned by Rupert Murdoch who has openly said he objects to the way the BBC are funded.

Rather than taking the story at face value i.e 'Brand, who has a string of former employees becasue he acts like a twat now has one more to add to the list'; you're suggesting some far fetched plot to gain publicity or an underhand attack on the corporation he works for.

Pavlovian response + Self-interested criticism + bandwagon jumping = an 'outrage' and 'something must be done'.

Re the woman - Strange that she's hired Max Clifford to handle her publicity isn't it?

In the end she'll get a digital TV series out of it, Brand will go the US & make squillions and it'll be another nail in the Beeb's coffin.

When all we've got left is Sky/Fox we'll realise what we once had.

Irresponsible behaviour in terms of it being allowed to broadcast. Whoever controls what is broadcast for them has dropped a really big bollock and he should follow Brand and resign. It shown ineptitude at the highest level. I can only see Ross doing this simply to impress his 'mate'.

There is no defence of this. They shown immature behaviour and made comments of an improper nature. This should be treated as gross misconduct and as such, like the average working class person, count against them for future jobs they may apply for. Would you want your company associated with that? they'd be seen as promoting this and acknowledging it as correct in my books.

They fucked up big time. I'm sure the wife of Jonathan must be very proud!
