If you have a genuine problem then the only way is abstinence 100%, if you were simply drinking 'too much' then a lifestyle change/new friends/hobbies will help. lad to hear you're doing well but if you decide you need help PM me and get yourself to some meetings to see if they're for you.

Not sure why. but I have zero interest in meetings. Read up a bit and seem to be "the book" "way of life" which obviously works, but is not for me.
I'll hopefully carry on falling off and getting back on the wagon until I may at some point I get off altogether.
Lifes better atm, long haul ahead, but it's better. Sober as I write this.... couldn't have said that 4 weeks ago.

I'm ashamed to admit I'm quite ignorant when it comes to alcoholism, but I found out today that a boy in the same class as my 9 year old son lost her life this weekend as a result of alcoholism and its really got to me.
For those of you battling, keep strong. No family should have to go through what that family are facing tonight.
