How about playing Jack centrally in what seems a position best suited for him.

He’d be excellent in a creative midfield role BUT you’d need legs and a defensive minded CM there to balance things.

In that set up he’d be like Nasri used to be with Yaya and Fernandinho doing the dirty work for him.

I'm probably going to get my head torn off for this, but that would be a great setup next season with Rodri and whoever we get to rotate with/supplement with him.

Grealish is one of those marmite players.
Pep doesn't seem to trust him in the role he played for Villa, and he doesn't really produce much from out wide (hence Villa allowing him all the room they could).
When he wants to bust a gut he can be excellent, just doesn't happen enough these days. Some of his recovery work was out of this world he just doesn't seem arsed to do it now.
If we could do a deal for a CM/CDM (as he ain't getting played there) it's an option

It seems pretty obvious that his fitness levels are nowhere near where they should be. He doesn't seem capable of turning it on for 90 minutes.

De Bruyne and Gundo are older and have more miles on the clock. Bernardo has run himself into the ground for City. Apart from the treble season,where Jack turned up in some crucial moments, he has been a flop. I have defended him up till recently but this season he has been dire.
