Jack Grealish | Set to join Everton on season-long loan

Grealish has been frustrating but Pep's tactics have been equally so.

I'd prefer to keep Grealish and have Pep play him in a free role.

Did that include Cash kicking the fuck out of him and rhe complicit ref allowing it?
Didn't go anywhere near Cash after the booking.
I doubt we'll reach a common ground here.
No end product from out wide recently, and apparently not trusted for the central role - where does that leave him and the club??
If he doesn't go in a deal in Jan I'd be surprised if he's with us come August

What the fuck have his wages got to with with anything ?? FFS we made a profit of £72M. What about Stones,Walker, KDB,Ake, Gundo all of whom have probably played the same amount of times as Jack over the passed 12 months and on enormous salaries just like Jack.
Lets put it into perspective. This is down to Pep who constantly plays him as a left winger, which is a waste of his talent and he looks more at home when playing in the centre of the park or playing in a number 10 role.
The guy is pretty much on 300k a week sitting on the bench, no matter how much profit you make this is just nonsensical, even more so when that same 300k a week could be going towards a world class player.

KDB, Ake and Stones have all made bigger contributions over the last 18 months than jack regardless of if they have played more/less or the same amount, even walker and gundo have been available.

The perspective is that he's our record signing, the club spent 100m on him, he didn't score a single goal in 2024, this is much more than just "Pep plays him as a left winger", even now when we are in dire need of just legs on the pitch he can barely get a sniff of playing time.

Kev and Gundo are 5 years older than Jack. I’d replace them first and play Jack inside before considering selling him. I don’t think that is straitjacket material. Considering selling him is.
Yea it's weird we're complaining about lack of legs and fitness and we still have to move de Bruyne, Walker, Bernardo and Ederson who are either past it or mentally out the door already.

I agree. He simply isn't a winger- especially if his fitness if questionable. He dribbles into the corner and simply doesn't have the move or the pace to produce a final product. Put him more central and his hold up, control and ease of movement on the ball shine better and would be more what we need than him trying and failing to beat someone down the left.

My ridiculous - bored not wanting to work on a Monday after the last 9 days off Pep would never fucking buy it line up:

LW Doku..................................RW Savinho
.......LM Jack.....F9 Phil/KDB...RM McAtee......
..............(#?) Kova...........(#?)Bernie..........
.....LCB Gvad........CB Ake........RCB Akanji....
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< K Ortega >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

His best position is at the bar drinking shots at 4am unfortunately. As I’ve witnessed very recently
That’s the reason him and Walker were left out against Everton, both out on the piss until, the early hours.

+ The fact if he sold him now for saying 30 million they can write that off against the 100 million across 5 years

We will only be holding his current asset value on the books , so the 100m less 3 years depreciation probably at 20m a year so roughly 40m book value unless there has been any kind of revaluation which wouldn't surprise me given his <100m worth of output since purchase. A 30m sale will give us a 10m loss on what we are likely holding on the books.

There's zero chance he is leaving for anything. We need the players (injury crises), we need players who are used to the club, he is actually quite good despite his (and everyone else's ) current poor form.
