Has there been any actual interest though?
Didn't Jack Gaughan post something recently about Spurs and Newcastle "monitoring" him?

I think unless he sorts himself out and gets back into the team there's a chance he goes in the summer especially if we sign Marmoush, but it's a tough sell given how much we'd want and his current wages. I'm also not sure how we are on the homegrown numbers, so it may be that we keep him anyway.

He needs to sort himself out though. One and a half good seasons in 4 is not good for a player we paid £100m for and he should be at a point in his career where he's at his physical peak and is mature enough to know his responsibilities in the team.

"We'd like to sell you one of our wingers"

"Does he score?"

"No"

"Does he get assists?"

"Not really, no"

In a nutshell that's the conversation we've got to have if we're going to unload Jack. We really need to work something out to get him back in the team here. Pep is one of the only managers in the world who could utilise a player like him; a winger who is more concerned with winning fouls than scoring or creating is a very rare profile - for good reason.

I was told months ago that Jack liked drinking himself into a stupor in Alderley Edge and Wilmslow. Often in San Carlo.

I wish when Jack played Pep would play him in the middle not out on the wing. I’m positive playing through the middle is his best position.
If the first part is true does the bold bit stop it???
If he's got those sorts of problems then we need to get him some help before he goes down the Best/Gascoigne route tbh

"Will he sell shirts?"

"Yes...and headbands!"

You have to promote the USP when trying to sell something!

Pep has failed to utilise him in 4 seasons, I doubt the penny will drop with Grealish. It's too late now.

Levy wanted him at Spurs but said wanted him on loan first and only with an option to buy not obligation.

I believe City told Levy to FO!

To everyone who keeps mentioning the £100m price tag. Ask yourself, is it worth paying £100m to win the Champions League, because without Jack we wouldn’t have won it.
I can agree overall he’s been underwhelming and it’s probably time he moves on but me personally I thank our lucky stars we bought him. Not least because I get to sing to the dippers “Have you ever won a treble, have you fuck!”

Honestly I think Pep is one of the reasons why he turned like this but yeah…

Its very hard to know whether we would have won it with or without Jack.
Same goes for most of the players.
You can say £100m for Jack and it win us the Champions keague and then omit all the millions paid for the rest of the squad.

He isn’t a winger and the sooner we stop playing him there the better.
