Jack Grealish

He wasn't a Villa fan though... which is why his social media team deleted all his tweets about united. He was from Brum and didnt even support Villa... Yes he came through there and obviously the club means a lot to him and the fans love him, but ultimately he's a professional footballer who it appears wants to move on. I do understand their disappointment though, SWP moving to Chelsea was really hard to take, but I don't remember any of our fans turning on him at that time. We were gutted to see him go, but it was too good an opportunity for him to turn down.
And the board.

Looks like release clause confirmed them!

Had to be with the lack of any response from either side after the bid was made public.
As I posted a few pages back, the Evening News claims that there is no buy-out/release clause, rather a gentlemen’s agreement between Villa and Grealish that if we offer £100 million, they will allow him to leave.

We have been accused of buying success for over a decade so buying Grealish for £100m will not certainly not change how our club is viewed , and it will only add fuel to the fire regarding the Premier league's FFP investigations , but the added bonus of signing Grealish is the frothing at the mouth of Rags/Dipper/Goons and the majority of the european cartel clubs.
Because its not "our money" it is "oil money" , maybe we can change our club crest to include 5 stars , not to represent the Premier league titles we have won but to confirm we use the best petrol.
The others will say we use crude oil.
