grealish job in the villa team is to carry the ball up field try and set something up or get a free kick, his job at city will be to pass and move, he wont get 3/4 of the fouls because he will be popping the ball off into a team mate who has create space for themselves, so can we stop the fucking boring statement , "i wish he would stay on his feet" ,we will see the technical side of grealish and grealish will be told to find his man and move .

From what I understand, he suffered a bad injury last season and missed the business end because of it. It will probably take him six months to adjust/get fit.

Unless we’re moving one of the above on, it doesn’t make any sense.

We need to secure a 30 goal a season clinical centre forward before we spend a reported 100m on another attacking midfielder.

Nobody has a starting place in this City side on "lock". Who would've thought a year ago Sterling and Laporte wouldn't be in the team in favour of Mahrez and Stones, for example?

So you think Pep will pay 100m and leave him on the bench. I cant see that happening.

He's technically not as good as a Foden or Bernardo. He scores goals, he can pick a pass. He isn't very quick. He's marketable and has the personality that will garner huge amounts of press. He reminds me of a very raw Lampard, but can he reach those lofty heights? Is he an improvement on what City already has? Not for me. Would the fee be worthwhile? Depends how you define what ''success'' is. Save the 100m and put it towards Kane.

I think some are taking into account the 'Pep' factor too much on this one. This reminds me of a mid/late 00's City signing. Gareth Barry tier.

People asking why we need another midfielder etc ..

we have never replaced Dave , someone who. Can create alongside Kev and control the middle of the park.

we spent 3 months last year when our main creator was Cancelo.

Ilkay will never have a season like that again.

b.silva isn’t the same player he was in 18/19.

we are crying out for this type of signing.

when Kev and Ilkay are 34 jack will be 29 and in his prime
