He's a very good player, Not good enough to be in the City squad.

He ran the rags ragged yesterday, Fred and Perreira must of chopped him down 30 times yesterday they couldn't cope with him. Then again the Rochdale midfield tore them a new one too.

Blues are looking at how much of a dick he looks (which he does) and that's putting them off.

I'd be in for him (and Maddison) if I was running our transfers.

If we dont get him he'll end up at the dippers, Chelsea or Spuds and make them a better side.

He'd adequately replace Gundogan imo.

He’s definitely one of the best young midfielders in the league at the moment.

Hes a great player. I don't understand what people see sometimes. They look at his appearance and image, then judge him off that. He's technically fantastic, good touch, good passing range, fantastic engine, can get stuck in when needs be. He reminds me of Fernandinho when he played for Shaktar.
He would look great in our team.

Fair enough but I don’t think Gundogan will be going anywhere whilst Pep is our manager.

I’d also prefer to see Bernardo competing for a place in a midfield trio as opposed to a spot on the wing.

as we are just "window-shopping", let's bypass charity shops and "cash generator" types.
Surely to fcuk there are better players out there, one that has no baggage regarding mental and/or physical issues. Top-of-the-range is our minimum, not bargain-basement "if only's", and, at this moment, we need a few. A "changing of the guard" moment is here and now, imo, the last two seasons have taken their toll on the squad, this year is our bridge too far, exacerbated by injuries, international call-ups, and the mickey mousers fan club in the msm. Bastards.....

He'll get found out as a player who's ego is greater than his abilities should he leave Villa.

He's their big fish, he wont cope not being the same at a so called bigger club.
