If he has to go back there to finalise the deal/say his goodbyes, it makes sense to do a small fitness session. He is still their player (for now).
Sure City won't be complaining about getting a little bit of fitness in his legs.

the lad had to turn up to train this morning at villa. its nothing but routine that was setup before the euros
i do think monday will be the meeting with villa and city to sort out the the deal and a medical if all goes to plan

he’s gone to work. He’s still contracted, he’d get fined if he didn’t show up. doesnt stop city announcing him to us
