Jack Grealish

All these posts about diving that conveniently fail to mention that he goes down because he gets the shit kicked out of him every single game...

Don’t think he dives the way Salah, Mane, Martial et al do at the slightest bit of contact

I've been keeping an eye on your posts since I read the balderdash you contributed to the Messi thread. You are ALWAYS wrong. You know very little about football.
Well he is floppy haired and he is a bit of a ****, so not entirely wrong. He is however a fabulous footballer and would be superb in our side IMO.

No problem but I do know that Grealish is simply not good enough for MCFC.

And the game is all about opinions but if you think Grealish would improve our team your kidding yourself.

I don't like Mahrez in the slightest but he is still a far better footballer than floppy Jack.

Better positions to strengthen than buying him.

Would be a big fish in a small pond to a small fish in a huge pond kind of transfer in my opinion.

He needs to be the focal point, which we couldn't offer him with KDB, Gundogan, Foden etc all being goal threats.

I disagree with most of the reasoning against Grealish working for City. I think he's very talented, I think he works hard, I believe that in a football capacity he has a good attitude and work ethic, I think he has the capacity to improve under a top coach etc, I think he's happy to work for the team etc etc. Given his interviews I think he'd love to play for City too. He'd really excel.

However, I still wouldn't want to sign him because we simply don't need a player of his position/role. With De Bruyne/Gundogan/Foden/Bernardo (not to mention a possible incoming Messi) it leaves us far too overcrowded in that area if he signs. A Grealish type player is as necessary as us signing another CB ie it's not.

Maybe things could change in the next couple of years and we'll need a guy like Grealish in which case I'd welcome him with open arms, but right now, no we shouldn't sign him in my opinion.
