See his contract is coming to a end this season. If were looking for a young winger to mould maybe this lad could be worth a look at. He has impressed me from what I seen of a young player only 19 and will break into the Villa team this season more regularly. Something about Villa over the years they have had some decent wingers and this kid is probally the best of there young players. I know it might not be a major big money signing but for the home grown quota and the lack of a major fee this player could well be a cheaper answer and if hes good enough might well work out being a bargain buy.
I don’t get your point, are you saying grealish for 100m is good value ?
About time we used our financial clout to make a statement signing like this. I don’t get why some of our fans think it’s too much to pay, it’s not like Khaldoon and co will have made the decision lightly and hoped we don’t get an unexpected bill!
Not only is Grealish a superb player, he also seems to be very popular amongst many neutral fans and even non-football fans, so commercially it makes sense too.
We need to assert ourselves in the football world sometimes, show that we are the biggest dogs in the league and stop rags, scousers and cockneys getting too giddy. I love the fact City will have the record signing, and hope Kane soon follows for even more to ram home just how fucking dominant we are.
The more we spend the better in my opinion, I fucking love it.
Was there a "Ball Park Incident"?Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood used to stand on the Kop at St Andrews.
I wonder how much they paid for Ings, I think he is very under rated and will do very well for Villa.Villa can cope without Grealish. Ings is a belting signing.
Lived down there for years. Birmingham fans were always ok, and they viewed Villa fans as gobby out of townies. Bit like Rags lol.Odd bunch from Birmingham I’ve found. Really want to feel they live in England’s ‘second city’
