So would I. That said it's not a forgone conclusion that Grealish would be better than Sterling for us. Maybe his highs wouldn't be as high or his dips would last longer? So I'd prefer to keep Sterling and sign Grealish.I'm ignoring such daft comments now.
Listen to his teammates,managers,ex players,pundits......to a man they rate him as one of the most talented players of his generation.He is almost impossible to knock off the ball,he rarely wastes posession,his vision and anticipation is fantastic and he can play with either foot.
He hasnt done himself any favours off the pitch,but thats no reason to make shit up or refuse to acknowledge his ability.
Mahrez is the obvious chooice,but id lose Sterling for his services too.
I've lost all faith in Mahrez and for too long so even if he left without a similar player come in I'd be happy. At least we'd have Torres to play more and give the kids a go sooner than otherwise planned. I wish Mahrez the best wherever he goes (within reason) as he seems a lovely guy but he's just not "value-add" for us unfortunately.
