Jack Grealish

I am still totally against the signing and I don't think he will have the same impact as Mahrez as had on the team but I will back the club's judgement on this

My only reservation on the playing side is whether he’d release the ball fast enough. If we sign him, I just don’t think we’d concede possession as much as we do as when Sterling plays on the left, but our players getting the ball off him might prove difficult, too.

Grealish/Foden/Sterling/Jesus/Mahrez/Torres. Good luck keeping that lot at bay.

Iv got a mate who’s a Villa fan and knows a player or two. They said Grealish is really popular lad, very funny and likeable. He does daft things but it comes across as the loveable clown rather than anything else. He’s very serious about his football though and wants to win.

I’d personally be very happy with him coming in, not sure where he would play now fodens come to the fore but I’d rather him be playing for us than going to a rival. Could really give United or even Chelsea a spark they don’t currently have.
My mate was a captain at villa and said he is a likeable lad easy to get on with no problem just wants to win

I know a villa fan and he is adamant Grealish has already done an agreement with us. Said he knows someone at the training ground and that’s where he gets the info. I called it bollocks to hhim.

I've said before, I spoke to someone who absolutely knows where the story originated around the time of the International break about Grealish and he confirmed that Grealish's people think he is coming to City. It doesn't mean that he will but your Villa fan's info could be good. All sorts of things can change before pen is put to paper but, as of now, I am inclined to believe that City want Grealish and he wants to come to City; I mean why wouldn't you want to come to City ? Only fear of not getting game time would surely put a player like Grealish off.

The amount of games we play he would get plenty. Not sure I believe him tbh but also he’s been out now for some now , maybe downing tools trying to force a more.

I think this will be our first summer signing i dont know anything, but from Pep being a big fan and him having these "injuries" etc and that he keeps posting about City also with what some posters on here are saying this seems like its a done deal.

Second signing since we've already announced Kayky but otherwise I'd agree, it feels like this ones done.

Makes me feel that at least one other is gone alongside Aguero & (presumably) Fern.
