Lost a bit of control after the change but did regain bit of composure.Yep,ridiculous management
I think it was tactical. Southgate wanted an extra defender on the pitch.I thought Grealish was having an impact so it must be an injury which forced him off. Subbing him otherwise makes no sense.
Disageee Southgate wanted to go with a back 5 so one of foden or Grealish had to be sacrificed as he wanted to keep the pace of Sterling on the pitch for obvious reasons. Just unfortunate for grealish but fully understand the subI thought Grealish was having an impact so it must be an injury which forced him off. Subbing him otherwise makes no sense.
He'd have 11 if he could get away with it.I think it was tactical. Southgate wanted an extra defender on the pitch.
Were in the final just so enjoy. He'd have 11 if he could get away with it.
Why ? Are you self centered too .....To be honest I would be pissed off too if I was subbed on then off
Unless I was carrying in a injury then nope I would be pissed off with the decision andif I was one of a few England players comfortable on the ball who can see out of the game. Why ? Are you self centered too .....
I thought England lost impetus when Grealish came on as initially Sterling wasn't as dangerous from the right as he had been from the left and Grealish wasn't linking up with Shaw as effectively as Sterling had. His desire to win free kicks means that the ball isn't moved on as quickly and the game becomes more stop start. In the end Sterling from the right drew the penalty - but Grealish still wasn't offering much.
My worry is, he’s the big fish at Villa, will he cope with being a squad player here ? I’ve got no idea one way or the other btwI thought England lost impetus when Grealish came on as initially Sterling wasn't as dangerous from the right as he had been from the left and Grealish wasn't linking up with Shaw as effectively as Sterling had. I don't doubt he is a good player - but I cant see where he fits in for us if he can only play as the left sided Attacking Midfielder - when we already have Sterling and Foden competing for that place. It may be he can also play in a deeper more central place - especially if Silva is really leaving. But I don't see him putting in the workload Silva does or the guile that Gundogan provides. Does he really want to come and be a squad player? and do we want to pay the fee Villa will demand for a squad player?
Especially for Kieran fuckin TrippierTo be honest I would be pissed off too if I was subbed on then off
For a defender then yep. Sterling deserved a standing ovation and bit of rest.Especially for Kieran fuckin Trippier
Denmark were dead on their feet. If he’d have stayed on I think we’d have killed the game off with another 1 or 2 goalsFor a defender then yep. Sterling deserved a standing ovation and bit of rest.
