Jack Grealish

yeah kind of agree but if the fee is reasonable the lads desperate to come why not? Pep will deal with the squad as he always does Superbly..

I disagree. Guardiola values squad harmony over everything else. What does it say to the dressing room and to those players who have just won you the most difficult title if you air drop in someone like Grealish. It (could) unsettle everyone from Sterling to Bernardo to Torres. We're talking about a position in which players are already regularly on the bench when they really would start at almost any other club on the planet.

None of that really is about how good Grealish is or whether he suits our system btw. Just more the idea that you can't just keep layering quality players on top of quality players endlessly. Eventually something has to give.

I didn’t say I would get rid off them. I’m simply pointing out that those are two players who are not playing enough to merit their places and who may now wish to leave. I also pointed out earlier in the thread that Jesus and Laporte are two others that may ask to leave.

A back-up keeper is unlikely to play often but you need one in case of injury to your number one. So if he went, he would need to be replaced anyway.

I see Jesus as most likely to make way if we bring in 2 more attacking players such as Kane and Grealish. It could be that one or two others are unsettled in the UK so it could be a surprise move. Time will tell.

see all that.. One thing though we don’t know what pep and the club will know that one of Silva Sterling might of asked for a move…

Steffen seems pretty happy and would have surely known what he signed up for and Mendy doesn’t seem to want out either?

I hate to say it but I think Jesus is the most likely to leave. He needs to play more than he has done this season, and especially in 2021. IMO he's in a tiny minority of players who seem to have not improved at all under Pep, if anything I feel he has regressed.

The big thing is that with a World Cup coming in 2022, you have to wonder how Jesus will feel about Kun being replaced by someone like Kane who will basically be undisputed number 1. Tricky one. Especially if someone big comes calling. Jesus is the type of player that everyone from Juventus to At Madrid even Real/Barca/Bayern would consider. Were it not for covid I suspect he'd have gotten a big move last summer.

I reluctantly agree.

Still not an easy one to see happen.

Can't see him going to another English side, and before anyone responds with 'swap plus cash for Kane', just, gonnae fucking naw! It is nsulting to Gabi.

Barcelona have 7 million forwards already, are getting sergionand depay on a free, keeping messi it seems, and would struggle to find the money.

Atletico I could see them going for him, put possibly only if theyncan cash in on felix.

Real, maybe. Could afford it, could find the space, possibly not galactico enough for them though.

Leeaves PSG and the Italian Clubs. Italy being the more likely.

While the club wouldn't stand in his way if he wanted to leave, he still has a price that would need to be met, and he is easily worth a minimum 60-70m in this market, which I think is beyondnthe Italian clubs.

So a hard one to see happening.

If one attacking player is to leave then I think it will be Jesus. He would command a decent fee and few tops club would be interested imo. I hope he stays but if Grealish and Kane is gonna happen then I think someone will be let go.
