For those who keep saying who need pacy players, just look back at teams facing us… are there really ones who play a high line against us? Nope.
They all defend deeep, which deems pace useless.

Sterling clearly ain’t it on the left, despite his pace, he lacks everything technically… and you don’t want to limit Foden by having him over there.

So the logical move would be getting someone like Grealish… and moving Foden to the right. You’d have two players very similar to each other cutting in to their best foot.

Obviously the issue here would be finding buyers for Sterling and Mahrez.

One good season that is all we are going off. If he was that good he would of left Villa a couple of seasons back. regardless of their owners

We had the all our technical players out there tonight but none of them were effective. Grealish wouldn't of made any difference.

Been good for a couple of years now to be fair. I have my own problems and reasons against signing him, but he is a top class player

Top class is stretching it but he can be effective. If he was top class he wouldn't be still at Villa. Same if Foden was on their books

Sometimes it’s about tactics, players can’t do everything by themselves.

The manager got it wrong today; it happens.

Messi could’ve been playing in the first half and he wouldn’t have gotten a sniff. The formation and the gameplan has a role that shouldn’t be underestimated.

Once Fernandinho was subbed in, we were able to create some chances and force them into making mistakes. That’s where our technical players will be effective.

Instead of buying Grealish prehaps buy a younger version of Fernandinho. But again we wouldn't of prevented that goal if we either of our defensive midfielders on

Why was Fernandinho at Shakhtar until he was 28? Surely if he was top class he'd have been at a top team sooner?
KDB 24years old and at Wolfsburg
Mahrez 28 and still at midtable Leicester
