Was reading into that Jeremy guy and he apparently got a lot spot on such as Dias, Mangala, and other transfers correct.

He also told us about the Covid outbreak and the Everton game being cancelled last year.

If he gets the info right about one of the players being a pisshead which is apparently coming out this week, you have to give it to him as that is very specific info.

Was scrolling on his posts apparently he’s good mates with Gareth Taylor,

Sam Lee has commented on it saying

“I have been saying for a couple of weeks (albeit in twitter replies/podcasts) that things are very close. Can’t exactly write it that way in a story for various (sometimes silly) reasons, and also there is/was a chance that he would sign a new deal, but as far as I know everything is in place for the move to be completed, waiting for him to come back from holiday. I’ve written an article about what he’d bring to City, which is being published on Monday”

I did a podcast with Sam the other day and he said as much to me about Grealish being very close to done. It's been a weird one in terms of people being so sure for so long without it actually being completed. Even someone in Pep's coaching circle said it was "very close" two weeks ago.

Sam Lee also replied with this as well, new contract I’m thinking Mahrez

”If it wasn’t for a man called Jeremy on Reddit you wouldn’t have heard about Grealish signing within a week so it’s entirely possible the Bernardo sale is done too. City have been very busy, but very secretive. That includes at least one new contract”

Possibly Sterling. That would tie in with what Tolmie said a few weeks ago.

Stones surely?

Didn’t an ITK on here allude to that point earlier this week? Mattyb?

I still don't agree that we should be spending hundreds of millions on overvalued players.
We already are attacked in the press continually for buying our team.

I just feel now we have spent a billion or so it's time to start bringing through some of this young talent at our academy.
It seems that besides Foden we are not giving these lads a chance, and I know people say we sell them as they're not good enough, but what about Sancho for example, we didn't give him a chance.
The more we buy established players like Kane and Grealish the less chance for our academy players to progress at our club.

PR is very important. In my opinion we need to be perceived as a club the gives youth a chance.
When are players like Doyle and Delap ever going to have a chance ?
At some point I suppose you'd have to understand and accept who we are or you'd permanently be disappointed.

We are a titles chasing big club. Like Real, Barca, Bayern, Chelsea and P.S.G. We achieve that by good coaching that acquires and develops superior talent. That's us in a nutshell.

We acquire great youth players (Lavia, Garcia e.tc, we acquire great budding stars, Sane, Ferran etc. And often established stars Aguero, Debryune, Kyle Walker etc.

And every now and then, we are lucky one started with us, E.g Foden.

But the academy is there to supplement the first team just like acquiring external talent is. The goal is the same. Whatever would help us win and achieve success.

We are currently in a rich vein of that period. I'd implore you to sit back and enjoy it. It won't be this way forever.

Also don't worry so much about what others think, it doesn't matter. I don't care if a single youth player makes it here. Almost all of them go on to make it in football, even if not here. So I'm happy for them.

The Owner and Management have done a fantastic job, building and orchestrating a solid winning team. And we've hard a great 14 or so year run so far. i couldn't be more pleased. And long may it continue.

Well I seem to remember we did ok last season without Grealish and Kane
Even with no Aguero and an out of form Sterling
Liverpool was injured. Chelsea was young and grew up by season's end. United was rudderless. But most importantly we had the advantage of no fans and atmosphere at games. Which meant as the most talented team around in what often felt like scrimmage games our advantage was pronounced. we were more often than not, going to win. And we did. Often!

This season will be different. Liverpool will be back at full strength and Chelsea will be good all season. Even United ( who already is a bit of a kryptonite for us lately) has improved. Not to mention the Midtable teams who are better.

We desperately need to improve. And I'm glad we are trying to.
