Exactly the same reason I wouldn’t have Neymar here.
If a player is getting the crap kick out of him, I’ve no problem with them making a meal of it to get the player booked to stop them getting the the crap kicked out of them.

I never rated Grealish having only ever seen his performances against us but last season and back end of the season before being able to watch a lot more of villa and seeing his performances for England I quickly realised he's a quality player who makes things happen in almost every game he plays, I'd love to see him in city shirt.

You could have quoted the right person instead of yourself, which was quite a telling move. I don’t have an anti-Kane bias, but I believe you can get goals without paying the amount it would be required for Kane, or maybe worse, letting go of a player that can still give us a lot. Whereas with Grealish, there aren’t many alike alternatives.
And don’t worry, even if Kane comes and has a long injury or continues to go missing in big games, you don’t need to expect a “I told you so” attitude from me. It’s a promise
