Jack Grealish

Grealish is most likely unattainable unless there's a release clause in his deal, I can't see him being cheaper than £100m, and I wouldn't pay that for him when there's plenty options available for cheaper

I said at the time it was naive to sign such a deal unless there’s a figure written into the contract. Hope he hasn’t stitched himself up through blind loyalty.

I really like him. But those free kicks would dry up if he played for us and the narrative would very quickly turn from ‘clever’ to ‘cheat’

I'm not sure about that tbh. He's excellent at drawing fouls compared to our players. Sterling for example is terrible at going down and winning free kicks.

Unsure where he would play. i think Sterling and Torres are likely to be first-choice wingers for the foreseeable future. And i think KDB and Grealish in a midfield 3 would be a bit of an overkill.

Clearly a really good player.

I’m not sure a wide player should be in our priorities though. Left back, at least one box to box central midfielder that can pass it (but preferably two) and a striker should be the key additions to first team squad in the next two windows.

The only way he could come is if a current front line attacking player goes (Mahrez, Bernardo, Aguero (depending on fitness) seem the obvious ones).

Easy......He'd be an automatic starter as he's better than all but KDB and Foden, our other players would have to be slotted in around them.

We have to evolve and progress,so if it means moving someone on to accomodate a player the improves us.....i see no problem?

Like who though? I can't think of plenty of players <100m who are playing better than he is at the moment and I don't think this is a flash in the pan with him. He's been steadily improving and carrying his team for years now.

It’s the moving players out bit that’d be a challenge. I’d always welcome players that improve us.... I’d just not want us to get into a long drawn out process and we neglect parts of the team that we’re already a year behind in addressing, in the case of a left back 3!

He is an excellent player but may be counted as a luxury right this point of time like Mahrez was when he was bought.
A Fernandinho regen and left-back and a striker is a big priority.
Still to see how he performs the entire season but Cavani's two goals for rags were a total poacher like instinct one.
We don't have that after Aguero. I feel those 100 mils should be spent on a striker.

Would be one of the top targets for me.

Great player who I think would improve playing with better players day in and day out.

Imagine his price being ridiculous though.
