Not sure this is accurate aggregating when the article states completely opposite

That tournament actually summed up the need for him to move. Not saying it's justified at all but it is clear that he will never be an England regular long as he is a Villa player, also the way he has been treated by Southgate, yesterday with the penalty, earlier with the substitution. He has to realise what's at stake given the world cup next year. He'd be doing himself a favour by moving and improving his game, along with national team favours. Up to him and how ambitious he is.
Because Foden played every game as well as Rashford and Sancho? This makes zero sense

But Foden started 2 games before getting dropped? He wasn't even as regular for City but still made the squad? Don't care for how Rashford got in but it's clearly off reputation and being a Man United player. I've just stated the obvious, it is a favours game when it comes to national team. Mings had done absolutely nothing wrong but soon as Maguire was fit he came in right away.

So yeah, it is down to Jack's own ambition, he can take up the new 150K deal and stay at Villa, hope things work out, and then see if there's a chance of him being selected for world cup. Or he could move, improve his game under Pep, and I mean no disrespect to Dean Smith but it is quite the upgrade, it would do him lots of favours especially with the package City could offer, and guaranteed selection for national squad.

I wonder what Grealish heart eyes emojis Instagram reply to Buendia in Villa gear means. Loving his replacement?
