How do you think City and Chelsea got where they are? Football isn't static. Neither of them were anywhere near titles until they were taken over by hyper rich and ambitious owners with proven track records of success. We are a much bigger club than both. It's simply our turn.

We went most of my life winning nothing but it didn't matter to me.
Winning premier leagues and cups is normal for us now but let's face it we were lucky, The Sheik chose and not Villa.

A clubs value these days is how much they will pay, that's the bottom line

FFP wouldn't apply to them till they got into the CL. that's how Liverpool did it, to go from higher mid table to back to a top4 team. Before their coutinho money obviously.

For some major players, very few, it's playing for the club in your heart is just important as medals.

I read an interview on Kyle Walker, in which he said, despite winning numerous titles with us, one of his fondest memories was playing a play off final for Sheffield Utd.

Alan Shearer probably the finest English striker in a generation is an example of playing for your club, putting that before medals.

The ITK game seems to be very much about confidence. I doubt any club is 'feeding' anyone any information. Who knows who hears what from where, particularly unknown itks of other clubs. If he openly names himself an itk like that, not sure I'd be rushing to trust that.

Laporta has been confident of keeping Messi since February. But then he is clearly kfa.

Fuck me I hate this fucking logic. 'it's not your money' blah fucking blah. It's not your bloody achievement either, the trophies the players win, yet here we all are celebrating them. And getting irritated when they don't. Give the fuck over, accept we are all fickle, and they are just opinions and feelings.
